Spring Passing & Shooting Techniques at Holmdel Cross Farms
Developing passing & shooting skills: Spring Combo with Technique , Passing & Shooting Skills This is a program we put together to train & develop the players to work on their Techniques, Passing & Shooting to improve their quality of play: The program cab be Monthly or seasonal for 10 weeks. It starts on Saturday September 14th & end on Saturday November 16th. Players will learn: Ball skills, footwork, ball control, AB,C Skills & 1,2,3 Skills to help raise their level of playing & take defenders 1v1 dribbling etc.. Also work on: 1. Passing: pass the ball with the inside of the foot 2. Passing: pass the ball with the outside of the foot, , 3. Passing long passes, and short passes 4. Diamond & Triangle: Creating Space, Exploding space. 5. Shooting with the instep drive 6. A project player development is a unique program we put together to develop players & help them achieve their goals. The is an all year program for players to work on all the 4 components on soccer. We’ll concentrate on the principles of play to achieve player development.
We’ll build The Five Principles of Attack & help players work on Penetration, Depth/ Support, Mobility, Width & Creativity/ Improvisation
Also, we’ll build The Five Principles of Defense & help players work on Delay, Depth/ Cover, Balance, Concentration & Composure/ Discipline, and patience.

This program is 4 days a week, 2 days of Skills & Vision Training Mondays & Wednesdays plus 1 day league game on Tuesdays or Thursdays for 8 weeks & Fitness training Friday for 5 weeks. The Fitness training will start on Friday August 12th.

Program #10 High School Training – 5 weeks of intense training, for serious players on Friday only July 12th to August 9th from 6:30 to 8:00 PM
Conditioning: work on jogging to build conditioning, endurance with push up, sit up & crunches to maximize strength.
Progressive Training: Foot speed, leg speed, running technique, burst of speed, first step quickness, acceleration, change of direction, quick reaction, coordination, agility, and balance- all without the ball
The ball will be then added to create innovative training with match – like activities that are easily introduced into the practice sessions for individual players and groups
Skill Training: Ball feeling, ball control, footwork, ball skill, decision making, move to beat & get past your opponent, how to make a successful tackle and how to create & convert goal scoring chances
Goalkeeping: Dive & catch, quick reaction, positioning, ball feeling, Punting, goal kicks
IQ in soccer: Meaning intelligence, develop & build quality which allow a player to recognize and adapt to situations on the soccer pitch quickly and to work on small-sided games to allow high-pressure.

Program #5 Combo Mon & Wed 8 Weeks
A unique program designed to help the players achieve their goals by training 2 hours per day, on Mondays & Wednesdays from 6 PM to 8 PM. Starting Monday July 1st to Wednesday August 21st for 8 weeks of Mondays & 8 weeks. Wednesdays.
Players will work on: Running with the ball, ball speed, ball skills, footwork, ball control, dribbling, shooting, passing, moving, give & go’s, individual play, heading, chest, volleys, triangle passing, screening the field to see open spaces, small-sided games & vision described on Program # 2.
